Innovation & Digital Learning Created JK-5 Innovation Lab (Makerspace) including 3D printer, robotics, green
screen, digital media, electrical, fabric & textiles. Planned professional development for teachers on design and
engineering across curriculum. Worked with students to publish new inventions and exploration of new tools.
Attended MakerCamp for Educators at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, South Florida EdCamp, Poster
Presenter at FETC (Future Educators Technology Conference) and ‘Teacher Playdate 2015’ at the Crayola Factory.

4th/5th Grade Teacher Developed differentiated instruction techniques in the classroom with the use of
technology. Collaborated with NSU partners to create more in house use of grounds for lower school. Worked
with the School of Pharmacy to create cross division programs in science on the Medicinal Gardens and
Reflexology Pathway, the School of Health Professions for tools in medicinal careers at the Health Professions
Museum, the NSU Library, and the RecPlex in physical education in creation of RecPlex Day. Attended
Constructing Modern Knowledge, Smartboard and Singapore math conferences. Expanded knowledge of
technology in the classroom.

Science Coordinator Developed curriculum for 10 weekly themed sessions of environmental science camp.
Photosafari Instructor Taught digital photography to campers in three sessions. Discussed artistic perspectives on
photography and encouraged selectivity in pictures taken. Joined campers at gallery during end of summer.

Served as the only teacher of AOA’s one room school house (which services the needs of ‘Carnival Children’) for
two seasons. Acted as the Principal, Curriculum Designer, Scheduler, Record Requester, Janitor, and Partial
Administrator. Created individual education plans for each student based on their needs to prepare them to enter
a public high school. Inclusive education was incorporated for group camaraderie. Initiated new programs, clubs,
and organizations.

Conservation Education
Worked in almost every area of ‘on-stage’ employment that Disney offers. Taught a hands-on conservation class
about the Gray Wolves of Yellowstone National Park to 5th -12th graders, and an adult program that looks at
conservation and new technology used today in the welfare of animals. Created new ideas for future education
programs and training. Received prestigious Mouscarit Award for Outstanding Contributions to Educational
Programs.
